[dropcap]M[/dropcap]eet e.no, a Berlin-based solo artist, musician, producer, and DJ.

Finding inspiration in Nordic singer/songwriters, indie pop, trashy 90s radio dance, and electronic funk, he oscillates between honest, hand-crafted songwriting and the glittering, noise-heavy sphere of electronic music.

His real name is Eno Thiemann. His second single is called Heads Up! It’s an Adult Contemporary song with traces of funk and soul and has an uplifting message: Don’t always strive to be perfect, make mistakes, be bad at something, make the wrong decision – you’re good the way you are.

From sparsely arranged, almost inaudible acoustic songs to massive, itchy dance tracks, you can easily spot e.no’s urge to always explore new ideas and expressions.
Why Should I Run is a catchy song. I love the piano in Summer ´02. I like the sound of a door in Follow The Green Light – Soul Version. And it makes me smile that the last song on the album is called A Simple Last Song.
Happy To is a beautiful song. It’s one of my favorites.

This video was not what I expected, and I mean that in a good way. I love to see ordinary people dancing in black and white. And the singer himself, often in front of a led ring light, doesn’t move around that much, which keeps my attention on the uplifting song.

His new album. Enjoy:
