American rapper Kli-Max The Highest Point drops a video with a message. -It’s an open letter to my stepson.
By Michael Hartmann. July 20, 2020.
-This is an open letter to my stepson expressing my feelings, thought process, and the love I have for him and my wife. He’s 9yrs old and I been in his life since the age of 2. I understand he’s young right now and will not truly understand everything I’m speaking about, but as he gets older I wanted him to have something to reflect on when it came to our relationship.
From his YouTube channel:
From the small town of Windsor NC with 3 brothers and 1 sister, Kli-Max is the youngest who moved to a larger city Greensboro, to attend NC A&TState University in 2004. This was an immediate change that brought on many negative and positive experiences in his life and soon found music to be the perfect outlet for a therapeutic way of dealing with all the things boggled up inside.
Michael: – Is it your family we see in the video?
Kli-Max: – Yes
Michael: – Why was it important for you to include them?
Kli-Max: – Because everything I spoke on in this song are true experiences from my point of view and I wanted to share the times I captured with them not only expressed verbally but also provide the visuals as a time capsule we can always travel back to.
…blended families occur so often in this world we live in, and the love in these families is no less than biological families.
Michael: – What do you hope people will learn from watching your video and listen to your song?
Kli-Max: -I hope people learn to embrace the reality that blended families occur so often in this world we live in, and the love in these families is no less than biological families. Steps Parents and Biological ones should always work together for the well being of the child no matter what while removing all personal pride and ego. The children must receive what they deserve without ever feeling they have to choose a side because they have both always.
