Vulnerable and raw with a dash of bitterness.

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]orwegian electro pop artist Hanne Leland is back with her brand new single. Two weeks ago, she released Ego Talking, a lush and emotive synth pop track where she bluntly sings about one of her biggest vices; jealousy.
-I wrote Ego Talking about that really ugly feeling called jealousy, when the ego gets the best of you, even though you know it’s wrong, and you know you should be happy for your ex when he or she finds someone new. It’s most definitely a break-upsong, vulnerable and raw with a dash of bitterness.
Hanne is one of the most promising artists and songwriters coming out of Scandinavia these days. Though she is a fairly new artist, her music has already been streamed millions of times on Spotify, and she has toured the UK with some of the biggest names in the industry. All while being an independent artist, or as she calls herself, an underdog.
Hanne Leland is no stranger to hanging with some of UK’s biggest stars, this January she toured the UK tour with Irish chart topper Gavin James, who invited Hanne along as his special guest on the UK leg of Only Ticket Home tour. In 2017 Hanne toured the UK with legendary girl group All Saints for their big comeback tour “Red Flag”, selling out 10 shows around the UK.
Hanne has received praise from renowned magazines and tastemaker blogs such as The Line Of Best Fit, CLASH, Galore and Buzzfeed, as well as having her songs added to large editorial playlists on the streaming services. She regularly sees herself in studios with some of pop’s leading music producers. Her 2018 single Stay was co-written and co- produced by Jim Eliot, the producer behind Ellie Goulding’s breakthrough hit Anything Could Happen.
On her new single Ego Talking, she worked with Hight, a British producer known for penning songs for Lily Allen and Tom Walker. 2019 will see the release of a lot of new music from Hanne, and it’s safe to say she is one of the hardest working artists in the game, steadily climbing her way towards the top.
