By Michael Hartmann. August 23, 2024.
2024 marks fifty years since ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Waterloo. The Swedes took the world by storm and they have continued to excite generation after generation with their distinctive music.
This fall in Oslo, you can join the celebrating of ABBA, one of the world’s most popular pop groups of all time – with songs like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Take A Chance On Me, The Winner Takes It All and many more.
This is Ben Adams, sharing about his connection with ABBA and Christiania Teater, where the premiere will take place on August 28:
This summer, Ben Adams wrote about the show on Facebook, showing his sense of humor:
WATERgoodLOOking bunch! had a dream I had some super (trouper) news to share. I do I do I do I do want to see you there. I wrote this post the day before it came so it was ready, but I took a chance on myself that I wouldn’t get it out on time otherwise. Lay all your love on us even if your name isn’t fernando and buy yourself and loved ones a happy new year present. You’ll leave the theatre saying thank you for the music and wondering does your mother know you went without her? You’ll have to book to see it again. Ring ring honey honey, hello? Spend a summer night in the city with us.
Together with some of Norway’s biggest artists and a top-tier live band, you will experience an amazing tribute to ABBA’s timeless music. Here are the Norwegian artists:
