2024 marks fifty years since ABBA had their big breakthrough. The Swedish group won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Waterloo and took the world by storm. The legendary group has continued to excite generations with their timeless music.

In autumn 2024, a star team consisting of Inger Lise Rypdal, Ben Adams, Lise Karlsnes, Atle Pettersen and Charlotte Brænna will share the stage to pay tribute to ABBA with the performance Waterloo. Well-known dancer and choreographer Mona Berntsen will direct the show.

This is Ben promoting the show and sharing his favorite ABBA memory:

If you are planning a visit to Oslo his year, join Ben Adams in celebrating the anniversary of one of the world’s most popular pop groups – with songs like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Take A Chance On Me, and many more.

What’s the story? 20-year-old Sophie is preparing to marry her fiancé. She wants her father to walk her down the aisle. But there is a problem. Her mother had dates with three men, but only one of them is Sophie’s father. Long story short; the winner takes it all!

Here is the trailer from Mamma Mia (2008) starring Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried:

Together with some of Norway’s biggest artists and a great live band, you will experience an energetic tribute to ABBA’s timeless music this fall.
